Recovery Audit Contractors (RAC)
QMCG performs inpatient MS-DRG audits, outpatient APC audits and/or conducts
educational programs on the CMS mandated program, Recovery Audit Contractor
(RAC). The RAC program is mandated by CMS to roll-out nationwide by January 1,
2010. Based on the results of the 3 year demonstration project, healthcare
entities are encouraged to conduct a preRAC audit assessment and know their
vulnerability.

physician practices can be found under their service line.
All audits are reviewed by a healthcare attorney and submitted to the client
under Attorney Client Privilege.
Hospital Support

Description Master (CDM) review, inpatient coding DRG review, and outpatient
claims review.
Physician Office Support
A variety of audit and compliance services for hospitals, including claims
review and education programming.
