Area of Specialization
Chris Kenney has 30 years' experience in health care planning and policy
development, federal and state regulations, certificate of need regulations,
nursing home licensure, Medicare and Medicaid certification. Additionally, she
has expertise in state survey process and enforcement, settlement agreements,
county homes, hospital registration, hospital skilled nursing unit regulations,
and state compliance for solid organ and bone marrow transplantation, cardiac
catheterization, open heart surgery and pediatric intensive care services. She
was instrumental in initiating the Atlantic Cardiovascular Patient Outcome
Research Team trial in Ohio and participated in state agency administrative
hearings.
Consultation Experience
Chris has provided consultation to various state agencies on health care
matters, health care providers on planning and regulatory matters, the Medical
Director of the Atlantic Cardiovascular Patient Outcome Research Team, and
Ohio's Executive Branch on state long-term care policy matters.
