Representative Experience
Senior Consultant with, and Director of Quality Management Services for, The Quality Management Consulting Group Ltd., (QMCG), a
subsidiary company of the Healthcare Law Firm - Bricker & Eckler, LLP. Manages multiple service lines of customized health care consulting services.
Currently works in over thirty states with quality and medical staff projects on peer review, credentialing, medical staff management,
mediation, privilege delineation, mergers, problem solving, accreditation compliance and readiness assessments.
- Director of Performance Improvement, Risk Management and Utilization Management at Naval Hospital,
Camp LeJeune, U.S. Tricare Region III, North Carolina. Oversight included management
of the Medical Executive and associated subcommittees, Credentials Committee, and Infection Surveillance Committee. Responsible for facility and contractor JCAHO preparation and accreditation. Consistent scores, two triennial surveys with several new and diverse contractors and multiple new offsite acute and ambulatory care services.
- Technical and systems consultant for U.S. Tricare, a multi-service federal managed care directive. Reviewed requests for proposal submissions for a several state wide managed care region, and local Emergency Room, Ancillary and Ambulatory Care contracts. Evaluated and monitored contractual compliance based in care performance, litigation history, patient satisfaction and medical staff performance, credentialing and compliance.
- Registered Nurse, private and federal, profit and not-for-profit facilities within the U.S. and abroad. Maternal-Child, Neonatal Intensive Care and Operating Room focused.
- Lutheran (lifelong) active service with Altar Guild and Medical Team volunteers.
- Served
as an elected Alderman, North Topsail Beach, North Carolina.
